Who stole
Snowball's
cat food?

Explore complex genetic issues with your class, like forensics and paternity through a kinder and gentler crime scene analysis adapted from the University of Arizona’s “Fluffy” activity. The experiment is designed to track down the perpetrator of a cat food theft from the bowl on the back porch. Teachers must have the ability to run DNA gel electrophoresis with their students to perform this activity.

Suitable for advanced high school students and many college students.
