Biotechnology Certificate

For Students With A Bioscience Bachelor’s Degree

This certificate program is for individuals who already have a Bachelor’s Degree in a biological science and want to improve their employability by mastering practical laboratory skills. The certificate program consists of seven or eight laboratory courses. This program can be taken full-time or part-time. Admission is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Prerequisites:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a biological science
  • Consent of program director
  • Two semesters of college chemistry
  • Microbiology course with laboratory
  • Two semesters of general biology
  • Cell biology or genetics course within the last 7 years.
