MATC AND UW-MADISON TO SIGN ENGINEERING TRANSFER AGREEMENT
There’s now a new path to the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s College of Engineering. At 2 p.m. on Monday, July 21, Madison Area Technical College and UW-Madison will sign an engineering transfer agreement in the atrium of the Engineering Centers Building, 1550 Engineering Drive. see press release

PROGRAM HELPS BETTER PREPARE STUDENTS FOR COLLEGE
When students head to college, two subjects give them the most headaches—math and English. In 2007, 68 percent of Wisconsin high school students who took Madison Area Technical College’s COMPASS placement test were considered not prepared for college math. Another 27 percent were not prepared for English. see press release
