Community Councils of Color (CCC)
The CCC's were initiated by Learner Success and the Office of Diversity and Community Relations to strengthen and deepen the ties with our ethnic minority communities.
Council members are volunteers who wish to impact student learning, access and success and who wish to become more embedded in the fabric of the college. Council members serve in various capacities, including hiring committees, program advisory committees, guest speakers for the speaker's bureau and provide assistance with the recruitment of staff and faculty.
The councils meet once per semester and each has identified a project or two as it relates to learning, access or success. The work each Council will undertake is determined by each group's respective steering committee. The respective steering committees are found below.
If you would like to join one of these councils, please contact us.
