Welcome to Diversity and Community Relations!

Diversity and Community Relations (DCR) is a new office at MATC, offering district residents classes to build their job skills and enhance their quality of life. We specialize in reaching out to our ethnic minority communities with opportunities not available elsewhere. Our Office is multi-faceted and is responsible for the oversight of the MATC-South Madison Education Center, has district-wide administrative functions, is charged with building and strengthening our relationships with our ethnic minority communities, and has oversight for an instructional unit, the Multilingual Occupational Opportunities Unit (MOO).

MOO's flagship set of educational offerings is made up of our certificate programs, and we also offer a variety of other events and workshops. In addition, the South Madison Education Center hosts a variety of classes from other MATC Learning Centers, such as ACE, Arts & Sciences, BICS, CPAAC and Health and Safety Education.
